Tempura Shrimp Udon Soup
Tempura Shrimp Nuggets, Udon Noodles, Carrot & Onion Nest, Dried Vegetables, Tempura Crumbles and Soup Base Noodles 170g, Soup Base 70g, Shrimp and Crumbles 40g, Nest 30g and Dried Veggies 2g
Microwave: In a large microwave safe bowl, add to 1 ½ cups of water. Add the soup base to the water and stir. Then add the dried vegetables, udon noodles and place the carrot/onion nest on the noodles. 1. Place bowl in the microwave and cook on high for 4 minutes. 2. Remove the bowl from microwave and stir contents. (Caution: Be careful when removing the bowl from the microwave as the bowl may be very hot.) 3. Add the tempura shrimp and tempura crumbles to the soup and return to microwave for 30 seconds 4. Let sit for 1-2 minutes before serving. Stove Top: Fill a saucepan with 1 ½ cups of water and dd the soup base to the water and stir. Bring to a boil and then add the dried vegetables and udon noodles. 1. Break up the frozen noodles and place the carrot/onion nest on the noodles. 2. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for about 3-4 minutes 3. Remove the pot from the heat and add the tempura shrimp nuggets and tempura crumbles to the soup 4. Let sit for a couple of minutes carefully pour the soup into into a bowl and enjoy. Cooking hints: 1. Using hot water for the soup reduces cooking time by about 1 minute. 2. Microwave ovens can vary in power and adjusting cooking times may be necessary. 3. The flavor of the soup can be adjusted to by adding more or less water.
